Floorp is coming to iPhone and iPad.

We are pleased to announce that the Floorp for iOS public beta is now available on TestFlight. We are looking for testers who can use it in the real world and help us improve its quality ahead of the official release.

Floorp for iOS is still under development, so you may encounter bugs and unfinished features. If you would like to help us build it together, we would love to have you join the beta!

1. Install TestFlight from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Open the public link above and follow the instructions to join the beta.
3. Install Floorp from TestFlight.

About Floorp for iOS ​

Floorp for iOS is a web browser for iPhone and iPad built on Mozilla Firefox for iOS. Floorp is an independent project and is not affiliated with Mozilla or Firefox.

It is not a direct port of the desktop Floorp codebase; we are developing it separately for iOS. Alongside essential browsing features such as tabs, private browsing, bookmarks, history, and downloads, we are working to bring the Floorp experience to mobile.

For this public beta, we would especially appreciate testing in the following areas:

• Everyday web browsing and tab management
• Usability across different iPhone and iPad screen sizes
• The sidebar, Floorp Notes, and Web Panels
• Accessibility, including localized interfaces and VoiceOver
• App stability, battery usage, and memory usage

Not every feature from the desktop version is available. Features and interface designs may change without notice based on the results of the beta.

What is coming next ​

We plan to introduce features such as workspace synchronization with the desktop version and support for selected Manifest V3 extensions. Setting Floorp as your default browser also requires Apple's approval and is expected to be added soon. Stay tuned for what comes next!

Before You Use the Beta ​

This build is a test version intended to help us find problems in everyday use. It does not provide the same level of stability as an official release.

• The app may fail to launch or crash, and data loss may occur.
• Keep a separate copy of important bookmarks and other data.
• TestFlight builds expire. When a new build becomes available, update Floorp through TestFlight.
• Some features and iOS integrations are limited in this initial release.
• The App Store release date has not yet been determined.

We recommend trying the beta within a comfortable scope before relying on it as your primary browser.

If you encounter a bug, please use Send Beta Feedback in TestFlight or report it through Floorp for iOS GitHub Issues.

The following details will help us investigate the problem:

• Your device model and iOS or iPadOS version
• The Floorp version and build number
• Steps to reproduce the problem
• What you expected to happen and what actually happened
• Screenshots or a screen recording, if possible

The Floorp for iOS source code is available on GitHub. Contributions to the code, translations, and documentation are also welcome.

Floorp's journey onto mobile devices is only just beginning. Every piece of feedback brings us one step closer to the official release.
