Floorp v12.18.1 Release Notes: Improved Stability for Tabs, Sidebars, and PWAs

Floorp v12.18.1 is now available.

This maintenance release fixes issues found after v12.18.0 and improves the stability of tabs, sidebars, keyboard input, mouse gestures, and PWAs.

Floorp's Firefox base remains at version 156.0.1.

🛠️ Improvements and bug fixes

Fixed the Panel Sidebar not returning when re-enabled after Floorp started with it disabled. Firefox vertical tabs and the selected panel are now preserved when it is restored.
Corrupted saved panel data or legacy sidebar settings no longer prevent the Panel Sidebar from loading; Floorp now safely restores the default panel data.
Fixed an issue that could make a Web Panel's viewport wider than the actual sidebar.
Fixed vertical tabs shifting position when expanded while the Panel Sidebar was open.
Docked and floating panel sizes are now saved independently and restored correctly when switching modes.
Fixed an issue that could prevent a newly added panel from following the shared panel-width setting.

Fixed tab stacks losing their scroll position when switching stacks.
Improved middle-click closing and drag-and-drop between stacks and browser windows.
Fixed incorrect insertion positions in multi-row tab bars containing tab groups.
Unloaded tabs now show the reload button on hover without loading until the button is clicked.
Workspaces now preserve Firefox's setting for whether a window closes when its last visible tab is closed.

Fixed Option-key shortcuts sometimes not being recognized on macOS.
Prevented keyboard shortcuts from firing unexpectedly while typing or composing text with an IME.
Keyboard state is now reset when a window loses focus, preventing stale key presses from triggering shortcuts.
Fixed mouse gestures becoming unresponsive after opening and closing another window, along with issues involving context-menu timing during right-button gestures.

Fixed tab-group lines being obscured by selected or hovered tabs in the Fluerial design.
Fixed transparent Zen mode toolbar backgrounds blending into page content.
Restored the correct top-positioned find-bar layout on Firefox 156.
Fixed an empty strip remaining visible when the PWA toolbar was disabled.
Added macOS launcher creation for installed PWAs, including repair, rename, and uninstall handling.
