Floorp v12.19.0 is now available.
This release updates Floorp's Firefox base to 157.0. It also improves how macOS Web Apps launch and adjusts Floorp's compatibility with the new Firefox version.

⬆️ Updated to Firefox 157.0
Floorp's Firefox base has been updated from 156.0.1 to 157.0. For changes in Firefox itself, see the Firefox release notes.
Alongside this update, we adjusted Floorp's compatibility with Firefox 157 for sessions, Split View, colors, and private containers.
🎛️ Chrome Extras across designs
We moved 25 UI options previously available only with Lepton-based designs into Floorp's shared Chrome Extras settings. You can now adjust tabs, toolbars, sidebars, and other interface elements with designs such as Proton and Fluerial. Your existing Lepton settings are carried over when you update.
🌐 Keeping your language setting
We fixed an issue where Floorp could return to English after an update even when another language, such as Japanese, was selected. Floorp now requests a language pack compatible with the current Firefox version so it can keep using your chosen language.
🎨 About design features
Floorp disables Firefox 157's new Nova interface. We do not yet know how long Mozilla will keep the previous interface available. Some Floorp design options and related customization features may temporarily become unavailable or display inconsistently as Firefox's interface changes. We will share updates as the situation becomes clearer.
🛠️ Improved macOS Web App launching
We improved how Web Apps created by Floorp open from Finder and the Dock. If a quarantine attribute prevents a Floorp-generated app from launching, Floorp removes that attribute from the generated app only. It does not change quarantine settings for downloaded files in general.
Existing Web Apps move to the updated launch method when Floorp refreshes their launchers.
We also added an experimental native App Shim so a Web App can have its own macOS app window and Dock identity. It is being tested with 20% of macOS users through Floorp Flasco. It remains disabled outside the experiment and is not yet ready for general use. The regular Web App features remain available.
🔧 Other fixes
External links on the Welcome and Settings pages now open correctly in a new tab. We also adjusted spacing in the Settings page.
