v12.17.1 Release Notes: Windows App Icon Selection and Stability Improvements

Floorp v12.17.1 is now available.

This release adds custom app icon selection on Windows. It also updates Floorp to Firefox 154.0.1 and fixes issues affecting mouse gestures, workspaces, web panels, and Chrome Web Store integration.

✨ New feature ​

Choose a custom app icon on Windows ​

You can now choose the Floorp app icon used on Windows.

Go to Settings → Appearance → Other icons to choose from 30 icons. Your selection is applied to Floorp windows, shortcuts, and taskbar buttons.

🛠️ Improvements and bug fixes ​

  • Updated to Firefox 154.0.1.
  • Fixed an issue on Firefox 154 that affected Chrome Web Store extension installation and other web-content features.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented mouse gesture scrolling from working on regular web pages.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented closing the last tab in a window when using workspaces.
  • Fixed an issue where extensions in web panels could not correctly identify the panel's tab or window.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented extensions from working in web panels in the panel sidebar.
